The School for Vegetables runs from plots 3&4 at Grimesthorpe Allotments, Sheffield. It is funded by Local Food (http://www.localfoodgrants.org) and run by Green City Action, an environmental charity. The project works with local schools who use the site as a learning resource and outdoor classroom. It also assists the schools in the creation of their own vegetable gardens. The project provides training and support for those wanting to grow their own food.
